This is an Air Force 16ft. diameter Deceleration Parachute. The DOM is Oct. 1984.
These were used by aircraft such as, F-4 Phantom and F-104 Starfighter among others.
The Loops are still intact around the canopy with 16 tubular nylon lines still attached, approx. 14ft. long. This is made of extra heavy duty nylon material with heavy strapping throughout; .. Makes a Great Military wall or ceiling Display Item, or collection piece.
