Antique magazine stand from a small family owned grocery store in Bucks County Pa. It was called Mclaughlins. This store was open from 1930s to the mid 1970s. My Grandparents had a tab there every week since I was a kid. I'm 66 now. I use to be a delivery boy for the store when I was 10 yrs old with a red wagon. I delivered groceries to the neighborhood people that out in orders every day. I remember this stand in the front of the store holding Comic books and magazines. I remember buying penny candy, wax lips and teeth, balsa wood planes, ice cream and cigarettes for my parents. YES, back then Mr Mclaughlin knew what everyone's parents smoked and we were allowed to buy them as a kid back then, lol. The first thing you would see when entering the store was this red magazine stand full of comic books. Great memories. Time for someone younger to take care of this stand. A friend of mine bought the store and Mclaughlins house which was right next to the store.
50" tall. 13" wide
